The client wanted to update the garden in line with some renovations being done within the house, including the addition of bi-fold doors. The use of a hardwood deck created a natural link between the parquet flooring of the dining room and the mature trees within the garden. An existing raised planter became a handy seating area and the large circular pond was removed and replaced with a ground level fountain surrounded by cobbles. The staggered design of the paving and flower beds allow ease of access to the smaller breakfast patio area and lead the eye to a newly planted bed in the lawn. New garden furniture enables the inside living to be brought out into the garden.
