This client had a large open space with nothing in it apart from a shed & a tree, both stayed!
The client wanted an interesting garden with a different feel to parts of the garden culminating in a spot where they could enjoy the last of the evening sunshine.
We created rooms subdivided by hedging, starting with a large lawn area flanked with deep herbacous borders. This led to a grove of silver birch trees, underplanted with white daisies & phlox. The path then takes you to a tranquil area, surrounded by hedging and planted with ornamental grass, creating a soothing sound. Finally the walkway ends in a deck that is surrounded by a semi circular structure that creates a feeling of enclosure. Lovely for the end of the day gin and tonic!
